Two local events will mark the 20th Yartzeit anniversary of the Lubavitcher Rebbe’s passing in 1994. The actual Yartzeit is on Tuesday July 1st. We will be visiting the Rebbe’s Ohel (gravesite in Queens) on Monday, if you would like us to include you in our prayers, please text or email us, your name and mother’s name, preferably in Hebrew. May all our prayers be answered.

THE REBBE’S SPECTRUM – July 3rd

Thursday, July 3rd at the Spectrum Theater at 290 Delaware Ave in Albany. Ample parking behind building. Doors open at 6:30pm, program begins at 7pm. A selection, indeed a spectrum, of Rebbe videos will be shown on the big screen. Cost at the door is $7pp. For advance tickets or family rate discount call 522-1872 or email.

BOOK REVIEW AT BARNES & NOBLES – July 9th

“Rebbe” by Jospeh Telushkin, has been released to coincide with the Rebbe’s 20th yartzeit, and has been a bestseller on Amazon, Barnes and Nobles. While over 600 pages, it’s an easier read with a wonderful collection of stories and insights, and lots of food for thought. Rabbi Israel Rubin will review and discuss this book at Barnes and Nobles in Colonie Center, at 7:30pm on July 9th. Books will be available for sale.
