The Regional Chabad on Campus Shabbaton is just around the corner now… Friday evening March 7th though Sunday morning March 9th, with a special Sat Night activity and un-filled Extravanganza 8pm-10:30pm on Sat March 8th.
We just booked the featured speaker, see www.Izzy-Speaks.com for a little about his courageous personal story and amazing message. We also ordered “Upbeat, Uplift, Upstate” t-shirts of which approx 75 can be airbrushed on Sat Night by Choni the Hebrew Airbrush artist at the Sat Night event. A big banner is also enroute. We are ordering lucite wallet photo frames to take home a cool picture from the Photo-Booth, by yourself or with friends. We also booked Evan for the Photo-Booth and hope to get some neat backdrops as well. We also reserved Dr. Yehoshua and Chaya Bracha Rubin as special guests who will join us for farbrengens and workshops and be a wonderful asset to the overall experience.
UAlbany students are not required to register, but it is very helpful for us as we will receive some Chabad on Campus funding for all registered students. Thanks to the UAlbany students who already registered with a $5 fee at www.UpstateNYShabbaton.com.
