Torah-Tuesdays starts up again on August 26th 2014 with a new line-up of original and relevant classes for 12 Tuesdays of the Fall semester.

Some of these classes are repeats from Torah-Tues in 2004, 2008 and 2009 with a few new ones written fresh for this semester. All of these classes are geared to all levels of Jewish learning, beginner to advanced, and will be presented 3x each Tuesday (5:45, 7:45 and 8:45pm) with dairy dinner at Shabbos House. Classes are originally prepared and presented by Rabbi Mendel unless otherwise noted, as we do have occasional student and guest presenters. No RSVP required for UAlbany students, no commitment necessary, come for one or two classes or come for them all if you can.

New for this semester is a weekly Talmud class (thanks to student initiative) on Talmud tractate Brachos chapter 4, each Sunday following the Minyan Brunch. We hope to finish all of chapter 4 and celebrate with a Siyum.

We also will have a Movie in the Sukkah and Late Night Study on Tuesday, October 14th on the eve of Hoshana Rabba.

Please come study with us, we try hard to keep it meaningful, enriching, uplifting, relevant and enjoyable.
