BIKE FOR THE FIGHT (BFF) is a cancer fundraising effort dedicated to raising awareness and financial support for the Israel Cancer Research Fund through a series of cycling events in Israel and the United States. This year’s cycling trip started in Toronto and will end in Washington DC. They will stop in Albany NY on Tuesday Night 8/27 thru Wednesday morning 8/28.

On Tuesday night 8/27, they’ll be resting up at the Shabbos House Rohr Chabad Jewish Student Center at 320 Fuller Road (near UAlbany), sharing their story at 6:15 and 8:15pm. We’ll have an abridged Torah-Tues “Getting Accustomed” class at 5:45 and 7:45pm. Dairy dinner as usual. They’re sleeping over, so they’ll be around, but probably need a good night sleep before the next leg of their journey between Toronto and DC… on bike.

Wednesday morning 8/28, will be a communal farewell sendoff on their next leg of the journey at the Maimonides Hebrew Day School, 404 Partridge Street in Albany, at approximately 9am, which coincides with the first morning at school for the new year. Call Rabbi Rubin of Maimonides for more information at 423-4103.
