Thanks to all for the many Facebook birthday wishes!

Today Feb 12th is Raizy’s secular birthday, and tonight Shvat 24 is her Hebrew birthday. (Yes, our Hebrew birthdays are just a few days apart). While she’s away in for the extended weekend at the Chabad Womens Convention we called a Brooklyn bakery to deliver a birthday cake (plus some pastries she really enjoys) and they came through..

Our Bassie and Sara are attending the Junior Conference which begins on Friday, so going down on Thursday allowed them to spend quality time with their Galperin cousins from Toronto, Detroit, Chicago and Houston. Chanie is already the age of the Junior Conference staff, but instead chose to stay at the Galperins and watch our baby Rivka (who is intrigued by the cousins) while Raizy attends sessions.

On the home front (or is it Cold Front?) in Albany, we took the kids to Terra for lunch (enjoyed the white pizza) took out a lot of Library books, and Moshe and I (Mendel) made supper. Raizy left a lot of the food prepared here for Shabbat, and the rest we will put together in time for Shabbat lunch.
