January 15-16 2016 will be the last Cozy-Shabbat of UAlbany’s winter break this year, before students return for the Spring ’16 semester and classes resume. If you are up working in the area, living local or moved back early, please join us for this final Cozy-Shabbat of the season.
Friday Jan 15th: Prayers 6:30pm, Shabbat Dinner 7pm
Sat Jan 16th: not sure yet about Minyan, either way Lunch 12:30pm
Special guests for this Shabbos include Gregg Binyamin G. from the class of 1999 now living in Israel for over a decade with his wife and children, with his father (one of our first friends among Shabbos House parents!) will be joining as well.
FYI: The Torah portion read this week is “Bo” (3rd portion in the book of Exodus) which has the last 3 of the Ten Plagues, the commandments about Passover and the lead-up to the Exodus and two of the four passages that are inscribed inside our Tefillin.
