For those up in Albany this Shavuot weekend, here’s where we will be – and students are VERY welcome to join us. Info below:

FRIDAY NIGHT June 10th:

8pm dinner at Mendel’s parents. 122 South Main Ave, headed towards New Scotland from Madison, it’s the middle house on the left, on the last block before the street has an island in middle. We will be there, and would love to have you join us.

SUNDAY June 12th – SHAVUOT first day

It’s a real big thing to be in the synagogue when the 10 Commandments are read from the Torah on this annual anniversary of Sinai. Here are two options:

10:45am-ish at Shteeble, 463 New Scotland
This synagogue is an informal little place, looks like a house from the outside, is on the same block as the library and firehouse. It’s a more religious place, but people are very welcoming and friendly.

5pm at University Heights Chabad, 147 South Lake
also on Sunday, reading of the 10 Commandments. Look for the big pillars out front, its close to Albany Med and the School of Pharmacy, just across from the CDPC.

Please note: From sundown on Friday through Monday night, we won’t be checking email, FB, answering phones etc. So no need to RSVP. If you’d like to come to any of the above, just come!
