Most of our daughters did Bas-Mitzvah projects relating to the time of year of their birthday. Rivka was born on the 25th of Tammuz, which always falls during “The Three Weeks” (usually July-August time) when we remember and focus on the Beis HaMikdash (the Jerusalem Temples). That’s why her project is on the Klei-HaMikdash, the Vessels of the Mishkan-Tabernacle and later of the two Jerusalem Temples.
This year 5786/2026 marks 50 years(!) since the Rebbe’s initiative to encourage (during the The Three Weeks each year) the Midrash Tanchuma (Tzav 14) that studying about the Beis HaMikdash can be a form of rebuilding it!
