Shabbat 360 is an annual effort for a mega Shabbat dinner at UAlbany, co-sponsored by Shabbos House Chabad and UAlbany Hillel, and involves all Jewish campus orgs. It began as a student initiative in 2016, still going strong! It’s usually held in the Campus Center Ballroom, but it was once held in the Nanotech Zen Building Atrium and another year in the Basement of the University Library. Each year there’s a special theme and souvenir tshirt.
Shabbat 360 for 2026 will be March 6th, 7pm in the newly renovated Campus Center Ballroom.
This year we’re going with an X-Box 360 theme. Note how the logo transforms the X-Box X into an Hebrew letter Aleph. Of course, it’s Shabbat and we’re not playing video games, but there are messages and familiar lessons that are relatable. After all, Shabbat is the ultimate Savepoint!
