We’re doing the annual Alumni Reunion earlier this year, due to the special package expected at the end of July, and as a farewell to our oldest daughter Mushky who leaves for California this summer (as staff at a Chabad day-camp in Palo-Alto) and then to Tzfat, Israel for a year of post-HS study. It’s also two days shy of our 18th Hebrew wedding anniversary and it would be nice to celebrate with friends with whom we celebrated together for almost all of these wonderful years.

Sunday, June 8th, 1-3pm at the Adereth-El Synagogue Social Hall at 133 East 29th Street (between Lexington and 3rd) in NYC. We are very grateful to alumni Zo & Laura for making the hosting arrangements despite the fact that they can’t make it themselves.

We’ll have desserts and salads and drinks. Suggested cost is $20pp.

This will be the first reunion in quite some time that we’ll have all the Rubin kids present, as it will be early enough in the season before they go off to camp. Also, every other Sunday in June is already filled with alumni weddings and the last Sunday we have Mendel’s brother Simmy’s wedding (and its also the date of a very dear alumna’s engagement party). May we share and celebrate many Simchas, good news and joyous occasions with each other.

We know this timing (or location) won’t work for everyone, but we look forward to getting together and catching up with as many alumni friends as we can, especially since this summer we won’t be able to do as many alumni visits as we’d like to do in the summer. For good reason! But we will try to do a few…
